In 1997, a psychiatrist and a sales manager started talking about the relationship between business and sport and realized that there was much common ground.
The more they talked, the more they realized that their skills were complimentary. They decided to involve another highly skilled business person and a designer. Business, academia and creativity came together, with sport as the glue, and new insights into training people to perform under pressure were put into practice.
Since then, they have accredited many people to deliver Gazing Performance Training and the programmes are delivered in over 60 countries.
Gazing Performance is a training company focusing on business, sport and education. While our training sessions are fundamental to our work, we’re most concerned with the way our delegates perform under pressure in the real world.
Our training for business covers sales, telesales, and sales management, strategic account management, managing strategy, leadership and special projects.
In sport, we cover coaching and competing. In education, we provide a platform that supports teaching and learning in the everyday pressure of the classroom. At the end of our courses, we don’t hand out heavy manuals that we know will get left on the shelf. We give people a single page of directions.
In the form of a map, our directions train people to acquire the necessary skills. Like all good maps, it shows the overview and the detail, pointing people in the right direction.
